I need a repair done of my vehicle before I can make the trip. The part may or may not be here in time, so the trip is a mute point. We won't make it.

I'm sorry about your mother's reaction (who is, I'm guessing, likely to make this all about her) but maybe you are better off not going if she is there. However, you need to make time and find a place to say your goodbye's to your aunt. I'm so sorry for your loss, Krystal.
