How it Feels to Have a Special Needs Child in Your Life

My second child has asperger's, along with a few other issues. He is very high functioning and should be able to "live on his own" with supervision (we're going to build him a place of his own on our property). While he is nowhere near as "disabled" as this man's grand-daughter, I relate to this song in so many ways. People don't understand that our son is special blessing and gift from God.

I mean that from my heart. I am always proud to say about MY son ... He's With Me ...
