Dual Citizenship, Illegal Immigration, Playing the Family Card Part 1

I'm sure most of you have read about the little boy who had been kidnapped in CA was found in Mexico and has been returned to his family in America. I want to start by saying that I am happy he was recovered safe and sound and was not harmed in any way.
But as things usually go, I did start thinking.

To start with, the boy has dual citizenship. I know other people with dual citizenship and I don't think it should be allowed. Either you're an American or you not. End of story. A lot of times it's done with children so "they can decide for themselves when they're older." Bovine scat! If you want the child to go to enjoy the benefits of being American, such as free American schools, you make that child an American ONLY. If he wants to be a Mexican when he's older (like that ever happens), then he can immigrate to Mexico of his own free will.

Secondly, turns out that the mother is an illegal (anyone shocked?). She wouldn't go to pick him up in Mexico because she was afraid she wouldn't be allowed to return. Now, if the mother is illegal, that must mean that the father (who is working here) is also illegal. I want to know why the child born here illegally should even have the option of American citizenship. They have five children. I'm assuming that the children are all dual citizens and are attending free public school. There may also be a good chance that they are getting public assistance. NOT THAT I WOULD MIND HELPING IF THE FAMILY HAD IMMIGRATED LEGALLY, but they didn't. So they need to go back to Mexico. You may call me heartless, but I know tax paying American families that are going BROKE on medical care for a sick or disabled child and I'm freaking tired of illegals getting it for free! We have VETERANS who RISKED THEIR LIVES for this country who can't get health care, but the children of illegals get it for free. And that is a true SIN!

Now illegals are generally rounded up and deported. But this woman really doesn't have to worry. WHY? Playing the "Family Card". It would be mean and cruel and heartless to break up a family and separate children from their parents. Okay, let me ask you this: If my husband and I didn't pay our taxes for ten years and were sentence to three years prison, wouldn't that be breaking up a family as well? People wouldn't have much compassion for us. I mean we'd be CRIMINALS who DIDN'T PAY THEIR SHARE! We'd be sent off to prison and our children would either go to family or into foster care.

I'm pretty certain that most of the people in prison have families from which they are separated from.

Well, I guess evading taxes is a crime, right? Okay, crossing the border illegally is also a crime. PLUS, once they're here they work off the books and BINGO! they're evading paying taxes, their fair share, as well. That would make them criminals.

Just so you know, I'm not cold-hearted. I have a solution, but I have to go pick up my children. I'll post it in the next couple days. I just wanted to throw this much out there and see what your responses are.

Peace Out,

Why do people leave Mexico and come to our country? Is it just handouts? That's part of it, but there is more. There is a class issue that makes any accusation of racism in the United States seem silly.

The perception that their indigenous peoples are inferior has led them to push them further and further in our direction. You can really blame the descendants of the Spaniards for today's illegal immigration crisis.

The true way to take care of this: Cut all social programs and benefits to illegals, and the problem will resolve itself. It has been done before.

With the current, and even the last administration, we wont get there.

This is all wrong six ways 'till Sunday, and we have a two party system with neither willing to do a damned thing about it.
