Can't sleep. Clowns will eat me.

So, dealing with yet ANOTHER bout of insomnia, I thought I'd check out my email. Before I get to reading I see that the is a news article ripping in to Sarah Palin because of her clothes. The RNC gave her and her family $150,000 to dress the part. Now people are ripping into her.

Seriously. No one has EVER pointed out the extremely expensive clothing and shoes that Hillary wore. Nor do they point out the expensive suits and shoes the men wear. And didn't they get all pissy when a certain some body's $400 haircuts were mentioned...

Reality now. All of the Palin's clothing is Alaska outback. If they were wearing them, the SAME EXACT PEOPLE who are bitching at her now would be making fun of their family and how they dress. And you KNOW it's true.

McCain, Obama, and Biden didn't NEED to get a family wardrobe for seven all at once. They all also had the money to do it. Remember, Palin's husband is a FISHERMAN and they have five children. They aren't exactly rolling in the big bucks. And you KNOW if she showed up in heels by Wal-Mart everyone would be poking fun at her and saying she didn't look the part of VP.

So honestly, lay off the bias. And all out, if this is what the media has to report on her, new clothes, then I'd say they need to start looking under the rocks of someone else instead. I may be way out in left field here (but I don't personally think I am), if the media is this upset about $150,000 in clothing being questionable, then I think they should try putting some of Obama's associations under the same amount of scrutiny and judgement and possibly *gasp* research as Sarah Palin's clothes. I'm particularly interested in his relationship and endorsement of Raila Odinga (google it).

Gee, when it's put that way, attacking the Palin family's new wardrobe sounds more than slightly shallow and vacuous.

What is not being reported is that Sarah is donating her wardrobe to the needy after the campaign...Google that MSM.

I just don't get where the scandal is. The RNC is paying for this. It's not coming out of taxpayer's pockets. Big deal. They need to find a hobby.

Good post, Krystal.
