Prayers
I just received an email from an old and dear friend. Their only child has a cancerous mass in his stomach affecting his kidneys. The doctors are doing a biopsy tomorrow to determine the kind of cancer and proper treatment. He's just turned 17 a few months ago. We've know him since he was two. He was my eldest son's best friend until they moved.

I know you must be hurting right now. I'll ask for comfort for this young man and his family...
Count me in on those prayers, too. There are plenty of children who have survived such things, and he might as well be one of them.
