Y'know, sooner or later you two are gonna figure out where the hell these things keep coming from....
I bet the doc will give you something if you puke on her shoes...
just sayin'. ;p
Hey, just a heads up...that anti-nausea med. It's not phenergan...crap, I can't think of the name of it. It works SO WELL! Doesn't make you sleepy like phenergan, either.
Anyway...the only bad seide effect is....constipation. Sooooo, getcha some fibercon and a buttload (pun intended) of bottled water and some prunes for good measure. ;-)
She prescribed phenegran. Is there something else that won't make me sleep all day?!
Krystal~ I SO know how you feel. I had horrific 'morning' sickness w/ all 3 of my pregnancies (IV's, phenergan & hospitalization in first 2). The 3rd one, I took Zofran - a medication for chemotherapy patients to minimize vomitting. Zofran WILL minimize vomitting (which for me, saved my life), but it doesn't remove the nausea (for me, anyway). Also, you're not sleepy on it, but it causes terrible constipation.
Maybe that'll help? That, & I'll say a prayer for you.
My July 11, 2009 post tells part of my 'story.'
Congratulations, btw! A good scan is always a blessing!
Zofran, that's the one I took. It stopped my nausea completely. But the constipation was BAD.
they didn't warn me about it at all, so I didn't drink extra water, take fiber pills (I think psyillium capsuls would work much better than fibercon), eat lots of prunes, etc. Seriously, I wo uld do all three of these. It won't be overkill. I promise. I nearly ended up in the ER....
just sayin....
