So Michelle plants a garden on the White House grounds. Remember how they brought in all these children and had a great photo op, I mean "teaching oppurtunity".
Here is a picture of her and the children breaking up the sod. I still LOVE the classic and appropriate outfit she wore. I mean, black spandex, mid-thigh length sweater, and those BOOTS! I think I'll get something just like it for the next time I drive the tractor... Bet I could set some 80 lb corner posts really well in that outfit, too. Yeah, okay, so she obviously doesn't do much real gardening.
So anyway, Michelle spend all this time working towards preparing and planting this garden as an example to youth (hey, I'm sure it took a really long time too because the tools they're using here are completely and totally WRONG for the job...much like her part spandex pants and ... uh ... boots). Now the crops are in...and so is the report...
THEY CAN'T BE EATEN BECAUSE OF DANGEROUS LEAD LEVELS IN THE SOIL!!!
Yeah, you got that?! The oh so experienced gardener here never had the soil tested before her photo op. So here are the oh so delicious looking home grown veggies...and they'll be tossed out to the garbage because they are, in an essence, a bit poisonous. HA!

BTW, who in the world wears skin tight salmon colored pants and a white shirt layered with a salmon print layer to pick vegetables?! Yeah, I bet she's in heals too. Doesn't she looked thrilled out there?
I wonder what she wore to do the weeding... Doesn't matter I guess. We all know she's a fastionista. Here's the proof y'all!!!
Here's the article.

They'll probably blame the high lead levels on Dick Cheney's underground bunker ;)
Bwaahaahaaaa!!!
No doubt they'll use the lead as an excuse to push even more BS environmental legislation through.
As for the weeding... I'll bet Michelle did not lift one finger in that garden unless there was a camera present. I'm sure someone else did all the work.
Batman, the lead came from fertilizing the grounds with sludge during CLINTON'S administration... Even better!
Brooke, I can guarantee you that she didn't till up the ground because the tools in the first picture were not capable of the job. Rakes and a pitchfork?! HELL-O! I'm sure that when the press left for "lunch" it was all gas powered rotto-tillers.
Maybe that 21 people she has on her staff for over a million dollars a year helped plant and weed the damned thing. It would be nice to think they did SOMETHING to earn their keep.
