Look, I'm all for encouraging weight loss. Those of you who have been around for a while know how I feel about the unhealthy eating habits in this country. I'm all for vegetarian, vegan, lacto-ovo veggie eating. We know that obesity complications kill more people than smoking or cancer. We know that obesity related illnesses affect the cost of insurance. We know that the crap fed to our children makes it more difficult for them to think and rest or grow properly. We know that childhood obesity makes me just want to smack the crap out of the parents feeding their obese children a pound of french fries and a greasy burger.
But this billboard is inexcusable!
I'd like to smack the crap out the all involved in this horrendous, heartless sign...INCLUDING the people who rented them the space! It's inflammatory. I hope they get sued!~*~*~Krystal~*~*~

Besides, I can go vegetarian and still fry EVERYTHING.

I know a vegetarian...he's still overweight.
Brooke, a strict vegan wouldn't fry much (it's a "live" food thing), but there aren't many of those out there. When I was needing to drop my LDL I went lacto-ovo for about five months. I was sorely disappointed at all of the veggie sites with recipes that called for frying in butter or coating and then deep frying. I remember thinking several times how those people were all going to die of heart attacks!!!
Batman, I bet he likes fried green tomatoes and fried zucchini and fired okra...
If we aren't supposed to eat them, then why are they made outta meat?
