People Who Encouraged a 19-Year-Old to Commit Suicide Live Via Web-Cam

A young man in Miami committed suicide live on the internet. He announced he was going to do it a day ahead of time. People signed on to WATCH HIM! There were those who tried to talk him out of it. But there were others who egged him on and encouraged him to do it.

He was NINETEEN-YEARS-OLD!

They say they can't go after the people who encouraged him, but there's a woman going to trial for manipulating someone else into suicide on Facebook. The laws say that you HAVE to call for help! By the time someone did, it was too late. He was dead!

WTH is WRONG with people?! I just want to scream and cry and shout and find these people who enjoyed watching him kill himself and slap them! I want to slap them until I don't FEEL anything any more! This was someone's LIFE and it was PRECIOUS and had POTENTIAL and people in this world got their rocks off watching him kill himself in despair! WTH is going on here?!

They're MURDERERS! Every damned one of them! I hope they spend the rest of their lives trying to wash the blood from their hands! I hope they never sleep again! I'd like to wish the same fate on them, but I can't. I just can't bring myself to do it.

Krystal, I know you're infuriated. However,

he invited viewers to watch (I know, they didn't have to follow, but you know how it is).

"...others tried to talk him out of it."

and

"Some users told investigators they did not take him seriously because he had threatened suicide on the site before."

I think this is a bit different than the FaceBook issue. That woman DROVE the girl to suicide, where as this guy was planning on doing it to begin with, before some cheered him on.

So if a young man is standing on the outside ledge of a bridge saying he's going to dive into the icy waters and jagged rocks below, and he's threatened this before, is it okay for people to shout, "Jump! Jump! Jump!"? (People who did this CAN be arrested and prosecuted BTW.)

It's one thing to think that he's threatened this before so there's no reason to believe him and brush it aside. It's another to cheer him on. The fact that he'd said he was going to do it before but didn't go through with it says something.

There are all sorts of "maybe" situations out there. I can't help but think that MAYBE this young man, once again, wouldn't have gone through with it if he wasn't cheered on. MAYBE this young man would have gotten the help he needed if each of his threats of suicide had been reported to the police.

MAYBE this young would still be alive if this world wasn't filled with so many asshats.

My only hope is that he is at peace now.

The people who encouraged his demise will answer for their evil, Krystal.
