Here is half of the counter top. The dried tooth paste encrusting the inside of the sink doesn't show up well in the pictures.
Here is the other half of the counter top.
Here we have TRASH in the SINK.
Here we have a toilet with no seat on it. The bathroom and hallwall outside the bathroom smelled like piss. The entire toilet was sticky with old urine. See the little puddle to the right? Piss. I cleaned the toilet and the floor with straight bleach. Now I can't get the bleach smell out of my nose. I guess it's better than the piss smell.
Here we have the broken toilet seat (lid and seat in two pieces to make a bigger mess, of course), toilet paper, dirty clothing, towels...
Looky! The new toilet seat they took upstairs to install last freaking week! At least they got it out of the wrapper. Of course the wrappings were left on the floor and counter top where they belong.
Now the boys have been told that if I ever find their bathroom even half this bad again, I will lock the door and hold the key. They will not be allowed to use the other two bathrooms in the house. They will have to pee outside in the bushes, which I'm sure they'll find amusing, "Let's see who can piss the furthest!" They will have to dig and hole and then fill it in when they are done. This may put them out a little, but over all, they're boys and it probably won't be the worst.
I think showering outside in the hose with well water coming out at about 44 degrees will make them wish they had kept their bathroom clean. Yes, I think bathing in ice water may not be enjoyable to them and will leave a lasting impression...
