Luciano Pavarotti died today from cancer. He was 71, the same age my father was when he died from cancer. Bear took me to see Pavarotti's farewell tour. It was our Christmas & Anniversary present to each other. We had floor seats close up. I wore an evening gown and Bear wore a matching maroon dress shirt with his suit.
I was mesmerized from beginning to end. Listening to him made me cry it was so beautiful! I'm so glad that I was able to hear him. It is an experience in my life that I will always treasure and never forget.
Good-bye Luciano. May you spend an eternity singing with the angels.
